What the materials are supplied for, how documentation works, what an account requires, and how ordering and delivery run. If something here is not answered, contact us before ordering rather than after.

What are these materials intended for?
Laboratory research use only. Everything in the catalog is supplied for in vitro and laboratory research applications and is not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of disease. We do not provide dosing guidance, administration instructions, protocols or any recommendation for use in humans or animals, and no page on this site describes one.
Do I need an account to see prices and specifications?
No. The catalog, every product listing, the molecular data, the lot record, the documentation status and the price are all public. An account is required only to place an order and to download the certificate file itself.
What is required to open an account?
A verified email address, confirmation that you meet the minimum age requirement, and acceptance of the research use agreement, which records that material is being acquired for laboratory research and not for human or veterinary use. Accounts are reviewed before ordering is enabled, and we decline registrations and orders at our discretion.
How does lot documentation work?
Material is received and tracked as a lot: one compound, from one source, received together. Analytical documents are attached to the lot they describe rather than to the product name, because a certificate reports on one batch analysed on one date. Each product page names the lot currently supplied and shows the documents attached to it, including the issuing laboratory, the report number, the test date and, where the report states them, the assay result and the analytical method.
What if a product has no certificate of analysis?
The product page says so. We do not describe a lot as tested, pending or awaiting documentation unless that is specifically true, because each of those phrasings implies a report exists. If analytical documentation is a requirement for your work, check the specific lot before ordering and raise it with us if it is not shown.
How do I get the certificate document itself?
Account holders open it from the product page or from the order it was supplied against. Everything the certificate reports is readable on the product page without an account; the file is available to account holders. If you need a document for a lot you have already received, request it from the message thread on your account and it will arrive attached to your order history.
How should material be stored and handled?
Each product page states the storage and handling conditions for that item, and those are the conditions the material is held under before it ships. In general, lyophilized material is stored at freezer temperature protected from light and moisture and allowed to equilibrate to ambient temperature before the vial is opened; pre-solubilized solutions are refrigerated and not frozen. Handle using standard laboratory practice and appropriate personal protective equipment.
Do you deliver locally in Portland, Oregon?
Yes. Orders delivering to an address in Portland, OR qualify for free same-day delivery above the order threshold when placed by 2:00 PM PT on a business day. Orders outside Portland ship by carrier; delivery expectations and shipping restrictions are set out on the shipping policy page.
Where do you ship?
Within the United States. Individual products may carry additional destination restrictions, which are applied at checkout against the shipping address rather than being left to the customer to discover after paying.
Can I return material?
All sales are final. Research materials cannot be verified as correctly stored once they have left our custody, so a returned vial cannot re-enter inventory. Where an order arrives damaged, incorrect or short, raise it from the message thread on your account and the refund policy sets out what happens next.
How is a compound identified in the catalog?
By the fields that identify it unambiguously: chemical name, peptide sequence where applicable, molecular formula, molecular weight, CAS number, physical form, appearance and net quantity. Where a value is not established for a compound, the listing omits that row rather than printing a plausible-looking figure. The catalog can be searched by name, catalog number, chemical name, CAS number or molecular formula.
Do you provide advice on what to use, or how much?
No, and this is not a matter of policy wording. Support answers questions about identity, specification and analytical documentation only. We do not provide dosing advice, administration instructions, treatment guidance, protocols or medical recommendations of any kind, and requests for them are declined rather than deflected.
