What a blend is
A blend is a physical mixture of two or more peptides prepared in one vial. It is not a new compound: the components retain their own identities, formulae and masses, and the blend has no molecular formula or molecular weight of its own. Listings in this category therefore state the components and the net quantity rather than a single formula, because a single formula would be a fiction.
What a blend costs you experimentally
A mixture cannot be attributed. Any observation made with a blend is an observation about the mixture, and separating which component is responsible requires running the components individually — at which point the blend has saved nothing.
Analytical documentation is also harder to read for a mixture than for a single compound. A chromatogram of a two-component preparation has peaks that must be assigned before any purity figure means anything, and a single purity percentage quoted for a blend is close to uninterpretable without that assignment.

Storage and handling
Blends in this category are supplied lyophilized and are stored and handled as their least stable component requires: freezer temperature, protected from light and moisture, with the vial equilibrated to ambient temperature before opening.
